About the Event

As part of Artweek 2018, The Drama Studio is proud to present the first free public screening of "Just Say Goodbye." Matt Walting, an 18 year-old and longtime student of The Drama Studio, directed this full-length film about teenagers tackling difficult, real-life issues including suicidal ideation, bullying, romance, family dynamics, and addiction.

“Just Say Goodbye” has been screened in NYC, Boston, and Washington D.C., and was a finalist in the FilmMakers International Screenplay Competition and the Austin (TX) Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. Critics rave that this is “A beautifully constructed emotional rollercoaster that manages to ebb into every facet of life as we know it.”

We are proud to offer this local premiere free to the general public, and include a first-ever Q & A with this acclaimed local filmmaker. While this film is not officially rated, we caution that it is most appropriate for ages 13+ due to language, violence, and alcohol abuse.
